FOR INDIVIDUALS

Online psychological support, for when understanding yourself hasn't been enough.

You may already know your patterns well. You can name the anxiety, explain the self-criticism, trace it all back to where it started. And still, under pressure, the same responses arrive on schedule.

That isn’t a failure of effort or intelligence. Insight and change are different processes. Understanding a pattern happens quickly, in your thinking. Changing it happens slowly, in your habits, your relationships and your nervous system. Most approaches stop at the first part. My work concerns the second.

Who I work with

People who come to me tend to be thoughtful and self-aware, and tired of that not being enough. Often they’re dealing with:

  • anxiety and overthinking
  • a relentless inner critic
  • life transitions and questions of identity
  • low mood
  • pressure at work, and the perfectionism that often comes with it
  • patterns they understand completely and repeat anyway

How I work

The work follows a simple arc:

1) Awareness

Seeing your patterns and triggers clearly, without judging yourself for having them. Not just what you do, but what your body and attention do first.

Sessions draw on evidence-based psychology, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), alongside mindfulness and body-based practices. The aim isn’t more analysis. It’s helping what you already understand about yourself become something you can actually live.

2) Acceptance

Ending the internal argument with your own experience. In ACT terms, acceptance isn’t resignation. It’s what becomes possible when you stop spending your energy fighting how you feel.

3) Integration

Practising new responses until they hold up in real life. This is where insight becomes behaviour, and where the change starts to feel like yours.

Practical things worth knowing

It isn’t a crisis service and doesn’t replace medical or psychiatric care; if that’s what you need right now, I’ll say so and help you find it.

There’s no form to perfect and nothing to prepare. Book a free 20-minute call and we’ll talk about what’s going on and whether this is the right kind of support.

Working with Harriet helped me find a sense of clarity I hadn’t felt in years. I finally understand the patterns that were holding me back, and for the first time, I feel equipped to handle change with resilience.
